About Can It Charge?
Every phone, laptop and console now charges over USB-C, so it looks like any charger should work with anything. In practice it depends on watts, on charging protocols like PPS, and on what each device will actually accept. Manufacturers publish these numbers, but they are scattered across spec sheets and support pages.
Can It Charge? brings them together and works out the answer for you: will this charger charge that device, at what power, whether it fast charges, and roughly how long it takes. We currently cover 31 devices and 19 chargers, and we add new ones as they are released.
How we work
- Every value comes from the manufacturer’s published specifications or from the sources linked on each page.
- If we can’t confirm a value, we leave it out rather than guess.
- Power and charging times are calculated the same way for every device. See how we calculate.
Independence
Can It Charge? is an independent project. We are not affiliated with Apple, Samsung, Google or any other manufacturer named on this site. Product names are trademarks of their owners.
